Ticked at the insanity of the WorldWe're reading in lit class "Lord of the Flies" - about the evils of man's heart. It's really awful, yet true...the human race is a cruel one. People make malicious comments about another, the latter soon finding out about them of course, and hurt badly by them. How can humans treat each other with disrespect and malevolence and cruelty?? We are ALL human beings, we are ALL equal, no matter what any one says, for the are NOT the Judge. No human has the right to judge, yet we all unwittingly prejudge people. It's human nature. It's also human nature to hate someone. Now just because I say it's 'human nature' to feel negatively towards another (not including anger), it doesn't make it okay.
I take a step back from the world, and observe it carefully. I see how dark and cold the world can be. People disrespecting themselves by wearing revealing clothing. Style or not, people should have the common sense not to wear skimpy rags (which is practically what they are).
Society has lost it's mind. It's the style to be dressed for pedophiles?? To show off 'all your stuff' just so people can defile you in their minds? This is insanity I wish NOT to be a part of. And the media - wtf?? Telling girls they should be dressed a certain way - look a certain way - wtf ever happened to 'inner beauty'? Mixed messages...-_-;
The media also looks over the goodness in the world. There are tons of good deeds being done EVERY DAY but the media likes to skip over that because it doesn't make a 'good story' - it doesn't bring in ratings like a negative story. I bet you I could get a bunch of good-news stories that could bring in a whole heap of better ratings than the negative ones!
Back to inner beauty again. There are problems with 'fitting in' with the 'in-crowd'. Just be yourself, and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. If you aren't yourself, if you change with every 'new thing' and are like everyone else, you'd be like a doll - just a prosthetic head not really thinking for yourself and letting others choose your likes for you. Sure, people may say that being 'punk' or 'prep' is individual and may call you a 'poser', but that's not true, for they are becoming the majority while you are still a minority - while they are dressing like the stereotype (shudders) they wish to be, they are following guidelines on how to be a doll, waiting for the next fling and 'commandment' they 'must' follow.
This really ticks me off. This has been another rant by me. I may post more another time. Have a lovely day.
=O Isn't Green Day awesome?
