I have to get braces today, and since the appointment is in the morning, I can't go to school. I'd rather go to school, though.  I'm really nervous - mainly because I have to take a pill that dries my mouth, but also dries my eyes a bit, and I can't sweat. The orthodontist said I could drink all the water I wanted to, but I needed to take the medicine so it would be easier to put the braces in my mouth.

I just took it now, too, and my mouth felt a bit dryer...but that's probably just because I'm nervous. I think the mouth-drying pill is what's making me nervous, though.
